What is SoftWave TRT?

What to Expect During Your Session
The "Mapping" Process
We use the SoftWave applicator to "map" the area of pain. When the wave hits healthy tissue, you feel nothing. When it hits damaged tissue, you feel a brief "tapping" sensation. This helps us pinpoint exactly where the healing energy is needed most.
Short & Effective
A typical session lasts only 10-15 minutes. It is non-invasive and requires no numbing or anesthesia. Most patients describe the sensation as tolerable and even "productive."

Is SoftWave the same as traditional shockwave?
No. While both use acoustic waves, SoftWave uses a patented "unfocused" wave that is gentler, covers a larger area, and penetrates deeper without the pain associated with traditional focused shockwave devices.
Is there any downtime?
None at all. You can walk out of our office and go about your day. We simply recommend avoiding high-intensity exercise on the treated area for 24-48 hours to allow the regenerative process to take hold.
How many treatments will I need?
While it varies by condition, most patients see the best results with a series of 3 to 8 treatments, spaced about a week apart.
